2. Information We Collect

2.1 Information you give us

We collect information you choose to provide when you request a quote, fill out a contact form, call, email, or text us, apply for financing, or buy from us. Depending on how you interact with us, this may include:

  • Contact information – your name, phone number (including mobile number), email address, and company name (if you are a business customer).

  • Location information – your ZIP code, county, city, or state, and, if we deliver or install a product, your delivery or installation address.

  • Vehicle information – for example, the year, make, model, cab and bed configuration, and other details about the truck or vehicle a product will be installed on.

  • Project and order details – the products or options you are interested in, intended use, event or job details, desired timeline, budget, photos or files you send us, and any other details you include in your message.

  • Communications – the content of your emails, texts, calls, and form submissions, along with your communication preferences.

  • Transaction information – information needed to invoice you and complete a purchase, such as billing contact details. If you pay by card or electronic payment, that payment information is generally processed by our payment processor and is not stored by us in full.

Please do not send us sensitive information (such as Social Security numbers, bank account numbers, or health information) through our quote forms, email, or text messages. If you apply for financing, you will provide that type of information directly to the lender (see Section 8).

2.2 Information collected automatically

When you visit the Sites, we and our service providers may automatically collect certain information about your device and how you use the Sites, such as:

  • IP address and general location derived from it (for example, city or state);

  • browser type and version, device type, and operating system;

  • pages you view, links you click, the website that referred you to us, and the date and time of your visit; and

  • information collected through cookies, pixels, and similar technologies (see Section 5).

2.3 Information from other sources

We may receive information about you from others, for example from a dealer, licensing or manufacturing partner, or referral source who passes along your inquiry; from a financing partner letting us know the status of an application you submitted (for example, approved or declined); or from publicly available sources.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use personal information to:

  • Respond to your inquiries and quote requests, including contacting you by phone, email, or text about your request;

  • Provide our products and services, including designing, building, delivering, and installing products and processing orders and payments;

  • Schedule and coordinate consultations, builds, pickups, deliveries, installations, and service appointments;

  • Provide customer service and support, including warranty and follow-up questions;

  • Send marketing communications about our products, promotions, and events, where you have agreed to receive them or as otherwise permitted by law (you can opt out at any time; see Section 12);

  • Operate, maintain, and improve the Sites and our Services, including understanding how visitors use the Sites and fixing problems;

  • Protect our business, including preventing fraud, spam, and misuse of the Sites, and keeping our systems secure; and

  • Comply with legal obligations, enforce our agreements, and establish or defend legal claims.

4. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your personal information with third parties for their own marketing purposes. We share personal information only as described below, and always subject to Section 7.7 (which provides that mobile information and text-messaging opt-in data and consent are never shared with third parties).

  • Service providers. We use companies that help us run our business, such as website hosting and website-builder providers, form providers, email and text-messaging service providers, customer relationship management (CRM) and scheduling tools, analytics providers, payment processors, IT and security providers, and shipping or delivery providers. They may use personal information only to perform services for us and not for their own purposes.

  • Financing partners – only if you apply. If you choose to apply for financing, we share information with the lender or financing partner you apply with only as needed to submit and support your application. See Section 8.

  • Manufacturing and licensing partners – only as needed to fulfill your order. For example, as an Authorized DD Fab Fabricator & Installer, we may share order details (such as product specifications and, where needed, vehicle and customer information) with DD Fab or other manufacturing, parts, or licensing partners when needed to build, register, warranty, or support your product.

  • Legal requirements and protection. We may disclose information if we believe in good faith it is required by law, subpoena, or other legal process, or is necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of Alphidia, our customers, or others.

  • Business transfers. If Alphidia or one of our brands is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of all or part of its business or assets, personal information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to this Privacy Policy or a policy that is at least as protective.

  • With your direction or consent. We may share information with others when you ask us to or agree to it (for example, coordinating with your employer or a third-party upfitter you name). This does not include sharing text-messaging opt-in data or consent, which we never share (see Section 7.7).

We may also share information that has been de-identified or aggregated so it can no longer reasonably identify you.

5. Cookies and Analytics

5.1 What we use

The Sites may use cookies, pixels, tags, and similar technologies to make the Sites work, remember your preferences, understand how visitors use the Sites, and measure how well our advertising and marketing work. These may be set by us or by third-party providers, such as analytics providers, website platform providers, and advertising or social media platforms.

  • Essential cookies help the Sites and forms function and stay secure.

  • Analytics cookies help us understand traffic and usage (for example, which pages are visited most), so we can improve the Sites.

  • Advertising or marketing cookies (if used) help us measure the results of our ads and may be used to show you relevant ads on other websites or social media.

5.2 Your choices

  • Browser settings. Most browsers let you block or delete cookies. If you block essential cookies, parts of the Sites (such as forms) may not work properly.

  • Analytics opt-outs. Some analytics providers offer their own opt-out tools (for example, browser add-ons). You can also use privacy-focused browser settings or extensions to limit tracking.

  • Interest-based advertising. You can learn more about and opt out of interest-based advertising from participating companies at the Digital Advertising Alliance (optout.aboutads.info) and the Network Advertising Initiative (optout.networkadvertising.org).

  • Global Privacy Control. Where required by applicable law, we will treat a Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signal as a request to opt out of targeted advertising or the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information for that browser.

6. Third-Party Links and Services

The Sites may contain links to, or embedded content from, other websites and services, such as social media platforms, video platforms, mapping tools, DD Fab or other manufacturer websites, and financing partners. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those third parties. Their collection and use of your information is governed by their own privacy policies, which we encourage you to review.

7. SMS / Text Messaging

7.1 Consent to receive text messages

By providing your mobile phone number and opting in (for example, by checking an SMS consent box on a quote or contact form, texting us first, or giving verbal or written consent), you agree to receive text messages from Alphidia LLC and its brands – Carolina Flatbeds, FocalPoint FX, and Runt Trailers – at the number you provided. Messages may include responses to your inquiries, quotes, order and build updates, appointment scheduling and reminders, customer service messages, and, if you separately agree, promotional and marketing messages. Marketing messages may be sent using automated technology.

7.2 Consent is not a condition of purchase

Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services. You can request a quote or buy from us without agreeing to receive text messages.

7.3 Message frequency

Message frequency varies depending on your inquiry, project, and preferences. By opting in, you agree to receive recurring messages.

7.4 How to opt out

You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message. We also honor END, CANCEL, UNSUBSCRIBE, and QUIT. After you opt out, you will receive one confirmation message confirming that you have been unsubscribed, and you will receive no further text messages from us unless you opt in again. You may also opt out by contacting us using the information in Section 16.

7.5 Help

Reply HELP to any message for more information, or contact us at 843-647-6437 or info@alphidia.com.

7.6 Rates and carrier disclaimer

Message and data rates may apply. Contact your wireless carrier for details about your plan. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

7.7 Privacy of mobile information

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

(Text-messaging service providers that send messages on our behalf process your mobile number only to deliver our messages to you, and they may not use it for their own purposes.)

8. Customer Financing Applications

We may offer access to financing through third-party lenders or financing partners. We are not a lender and do not make credit decisions. If you choose to apply for financing, your application – including any sensitive financial information such as your Social Security number, income, or bank details – is submitted to and handled by the lender, generally through the lender's own website, application form, or platform. The lender's collection, use, and sharing of your information is governed by the lender's own privacy policy and terms, not this Privacy Policy. We encourage you to review them before applying.

If you apply, we may share basic information with the lender (such as your contact details and the product and price you are interested in) to help start or support your application, and the lender may share limited information back with us (such as approval status, approved amount, or terms) so we can complete your purchase.

9. Data Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information from loss, misuse, and unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. However, no website, internet transmission, email, or text message is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please avoid sending sensitive information through forms, email, or text.

10. Children's Privacy

Our Sites and Services are intended for adults and businesses and are not directed to children under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or under 16, where applicable law sets a higher age). If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will take steps to delete it.

11. Data Retention

We keep personal information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including to respond to your inquiry, provide and support your product (including warranty and service), maintain business and tax records, resolve disputes, enforce our agreements, and comply with legal obligations. For example, quote requests that do not result in a purchase are generally kept for a limited period for follow-up and business records, while customer order, invoice, and warranty records are generally kept for as long as required for tax, accounting, warranty, and legal purposes. When information is no longer needed, we delete it or de-identify it. We keep records of text-messaging opt-ins and opt-outs as long as needed to honor your choices and comply with law.

12. Your Choices and Rights

12.1 Choices available to everyone

  • Access, correction, and deletion. You may ask us to tell you what personal information we have about you, to correct it, or to delete it. We will honor reasonable requests, subject to legal and business exceptions (for example, records we must keep for tax, warranty, or legal reasons).

  • Email marketing. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the "unsubscribe" link in the email or by contacting us. We may still send you non-marketing messages about your quote, order, or account.

  • Text messages. Reply STOP to opt out of text messages (see Section 7).

  • Phone calls. You can ask us to stop marketing calls at any time.

  • Cookies. See Section 5.2.

12.2 U.S. state privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under your state's privacy law. These may include the right to:

  • confirm whether we process your personal information and access a copy of it;

  • correct inaccuracies;

  • delete personal information;

  • obtain your data in a portable format;

  • opt out of the "sale" of personal information, "sharing" for cross-context behavioral advertising, targeted advertising, or certain profiling; and

  • appeal our decision if we decline your request.

These laws apply only to businesses that meet certain thresholds, and some rights may not apply to us or to your information. Regardless, we will consider and respond to requests in good faith. We do not sell personal information, and we will not discriminate against you for exercising your privacy rights.

12.3 How to make a request

To make a request, contact us at info@alphidia.com or 843-647-6437, or write to us at 1750 Signal Point Road, Bldg 800, Charleston, SC 29412. Please tell us what you are asking for and which brand(s) you dealt with. We may need to verify your identity before responding (for example, by matching your name, email, and phone number with our records). You may use an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf where permitted by law; we may require proof of the agent's authority. If we deny your request, you may appeal by replying to our decision or emailing info@alphidia.com with the subject line "Privacy Appeal."

13. Do Not Track

Some browsers offer a "Do Not Track" ("DNT") setting. Because there is no common industry standard for responding to DNT signals, the Sites do not currently respond to them. We do honor Global Privacy Control signals as described in Section 5.2 where required by law.

14. Users Outside the United States

Our Services are intended for customers in the United States. If you access the Sites from outside the U.S., your information will be processed and stored in the United States, where privacy laws may differ from those in your country.

15. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the updated version on the Sites and change the "Last Updated" date above. If we make material changes, we will provide additional notice as appropriate (for example, by a notice on the Sites). Your continued use of our Services after an update means you acknowledge the updated policy.
